Matt Fox, AGMT

An experienced glazier and one of the first cohort participants to earn AGMT, Matt brings nearly three decades of experience and perspective to his role as AGMCC board president.

He began his career with Local Union 252 in Philadelphia. After over a decade of glazing, and several years of part-time teaching at his local training center, Matt took a full-time role with District Council 21 to manage and expand apprenticeship programs and oversee continuing education and certification training. He segued to the IUPAT in 2021 where he leads glazier training initiatives at the national and international levels. He collaborates with apprenticeship directors, training coordinators, industry stakeholders, and organizations to align training programs with the latest technology and best practices. Matt works every day to build and strengthen the glazing trade and has been a longtime advocate for certifications and an active participant on the AGMT Committee.

Matt enjoys building industry relationships to drive training and ensure a highly qualified workforce. When he’s not crisscrossing the country with IUPAT, the married father of two daughters enjoys collecting 1980s nostalgia, including restoring vintage BMX bikes. He also enjoys drawing, reading, and cooking for his family.
