Accreditation
Both the AGMT and NACC programs hold ANAB (American National Standards Institute (ANSI) National Accreditation Board) accreditation.
Held to high standards for fairness and consistency
On March 29, 2019, ANAB formally issued accreditation to the AGMT certification program in accordance with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17024:2012 standard. Accreditation to this standard ensures employers, candidates, and stakeholders that the test content is relevant to the technician’s job and skillset, and that the program is consistently and fairly administered.
On July 21, 2015, ANAB formally issued accreditation to the NACC program in accordance with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17065:2012 standard. Accreditation to this standard ensures applicant and licensee companies and stakeholders that the program requirements are relevant and that assessments are consistently and fairly administered.
About ANSI and ANAB
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a private non-profit organization that oversees development of voluntary consensus standards for products, services, processes, systems, and personnel in the U.S. The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) is the largest multi-disciplinary accreditation body in the western hemisphere, with over 2,500 organizations accredited in approximately 80 countries.
Earning accreditation through ANAB demonstrates that both the AGMT and NACC programs have undergone rigorous conformity assessments and maintain the highest operational integrity. Candidates for certification and certified companies and individuals have an added level of confidence that their credentials have been accredited.
