After beginning his career as an apprentice and later shifting to union leadership, Mike has been involved in nearly every aspect of labor management. He understands the member and employer perspectives and remains responsive to meeting the needs of both. In his multiple leadership positions, Mike oversees the daily operations, finances, and management of a 20-person staff supporting 60 contractors and 1,500 glaziers in Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey. He’s involved at the state, local, and District Council levels to encourage quality, safety, and training.
Mike serves on the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority board and the Williamstown Township Planning Board. He’s also a trustee of Drumthwacket, the nonprofit, nonpartisan organization associated with the official New Jersey Governor’s Residence that supports preservation and furthers civic awareness. Married with an adult son and daughter, Mike enjoys playing golf and goes to the beach every chance he can get.

“Certified contractors and installers mitigate the likelihood of leaks and other problems. When you talk about tax dollars and using the public’s money, it should be spent properly. An independent third-party that’s not tied to union or non-union seems like a no-brainer to me.”
