Andrew Hill

As an AGMCC board member, Andy has sought opportunities to promote certification to large companies, demonstrating how adoption across different size businesses can help both NACC and AGMT flourish.

Andy has nearly 30 years of experience in sales and project management for glazing contractors, including over 25 years with Itasca, Illinois-based Glass Solutions, Inc. (GSI). He grew up in the industry, following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather, and uncles. Andy leads with vision, encouraging those around him to strive for excellence. He encouraged GSI to earn NACC in 2023 and proactively used certification to spur a collaboration with Autodesk Build to streamline documentation.

Andy participates on the boards of the Local Union 27 Health and Welfare Pension Fund and the Coaches Versus Cancer collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. He is involved with the American Heart Association’s Hardhats for Hearts program to put AEDs on every job site in America. He also sits on the St. Francis High School board and chairs its construction committee. Andy loves spending time with his wife, son, and daughter at their lake house or out on the water. He enjoys playing golf and tackling house projects, especially when he can get his kids to join him and learn.
