Chris has nearly 30 years of glazing product experience. Representing global architectural glazing products company Kawneer, Chris underscores the importance of proper installation to ensure building envelope performance. His team manages Kawneer platforms from new product development and enhancement to qualification based on the needs of designers, codes, and owners across North America. Chris began his career with a glazing contractor, gaining experience in the field and as a project manager and estimator. He joined Kawneer as a training instructor demonstrating assembly and glazing techniques. Chris credits his exposure to all aspects of glazing with both his professional trajectory and his perspective on the AGMCC board. While Kawneer does much to train and support glazing installation, the company doesn’t certify installers. Chris’ board involvement has included supplying materials for AGMT testing to providing support and direction for AGMT test questions and NACC evaluation criteria.
Chris participates in the Fenestration & Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA), the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA), and as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of NW Metro Atlanta. Married with three kids, Chris enjoys tennis and golf.

“Installation instructions are the most important but often least-looked-at piece of documentation. Certification helps glaziers and contractors follow those guidelines. This board gives me the platform to support AGMT and NACC and the development of standards that support the industry from the manufacturer’s side.”
