Dawn Shannon

AGMCC Operations Manager

Both creative and business minded, Dawn engages with people from across the U.S. and Canada, supporting their journeys to certification.

She’s responsible for program coordination, document management, and internal auditing, overseeing the CIP databases and ensuring AGMT and NACC applicants understand their path to certification. Dawn’s diverse career has included stints as a tax associate and a U.S. Census field manager – she’s no stranger to complicated processes – and she’s developed a calm capability to guide others. Dawn enjoys the opportunity to speak and work with people from all over North America, and never fails to be engaging and relatable. Whether Dawn’s preparing program analyses, developing new training initiatives, or patiently talking through details with a candidate, she’s always thinking creativity about how to improve efficiency and make the AGMT and NACC programs stronger.

Dawn applies the same can-do attitude and creative problem-solving at home, where she’s been renovating a log cabin since 2017. From refinishing log walls to rebuilding stone landscaping, she has simultaneously self-taught and beautified the house. Dawn is married with four grown sons. When she’s not working at AMS or at home, she enjoys travel to anyplace warm.

“You’ll confirm you’re capable of doing the job based on the AGMT test. You’ll become a higher-level company with the NACC program. Our focus is helping establish a standard to work at or above, that sets you apart from your competition.”
