David J. Cooper, PMP

NACC Assessor

Dedicated to the fenestration industry and always willing to share his knowledge, David brings over 30 years of subject-matter expertise in glass product design and performance, testing, fabrication, and field installation to his role as an NACC assessor.

He simultaneously serves as President of Fenestration Consulting Services, a risk mitigation and technical services consulting firm; as President/CTO of VacuumGlass, LLC, an importer of vacuum insulating glass (VIG); and as CEO of Leidus Corporation, an importer of VIG production lines. David is emeritus board member for the Fenestration Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA) and past president of the Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA) before its merger into FGIA and former vice president of the Insulating Glass Certification Council (IGCC). He chairs two ASTM committee working groups for VIG durability and load strength, and he contributes regular articles to Window & Door magazine. Outside of the glazing industry, David volunteers as vice president of the Central Wisconsin region of the Porsche Club of America.

Married with a grown daughter, David divides his time between homes in Wisconsin and Florida. He travels frequently, whether “glamping” in his RV around the U.S. or visiting China for work, and always enjoys the opportunity to explore new cities and restaurants.
