Chris always felt it was important to understand the glazing trade inside and out to be able to perform the job correctly and avoid the need for service work call-backs.

A retired member of Glaziers Local Union 252 in Greater Philadelphia, Chris began his career as a pre-apprentice running fabrication in a glazing shop. After graduating from the apprentice program, he spent the next 25 years as a foreman leading new construction work and estimating jobs for some of Philadelphia’s top commercial glazing contractors. Becoming an AGMT examiner was a natural parlay from career to retirement, but Chris was adamant that he would undergo the same testing he now proctors. He earned the AGMT credential, proudly demonstrating his competency, knowledge, and abilities, and he welcomes the opportunity to help further the skills of others through the program.

Married with two adult daughters, Chris set an example that hard work pays off. He likes to joke that these three strong-willed women keep him going – with house projects and chores – but he’s proud of their intelligence, drive, and similar work ethic. When he does have free time, Chris enjoys golfing and reading.
