Brendan E. Juge

NACC Assessor

A Navy veteran and quality assurance leader, Brendan was attracted to NACC’s commitment to helping glazing contractors become stronger through strategies for generational growth and stability.

Brendan enlisted in the U.S. Navy at age 17. Over eight years, he trained in power plant operations and served in roles including nuclear submarine operator and quality assurance officer, cultivating expertise in team coordination, root-cause analysis, safety enforcement, and complex system evaluations – always with a practical focus on getting the job done safely and effectively. He authored 50+ controlled technical procedures, two of which were adopted as permanent Navy standards. After his military career, Brendan worked in manufacturing, contributing to projects such as the Coca-Cola Super-Concentrate line, the Budweiser Bud Light Lime injection line, and a new plant for Land O’Lakes. He transitioned to Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope, where he led a complete quality system overhaul, designed and executed a corporate internal audit program, and reduced customer warranty claims by 60 percent. Outside of his NACC assessment responsibilities, Brendan operates Jugerthorn Consulting LLC, helping clients solve problems with a philosophy of constant growth. He likes to be hands-on, focusing on people and finding ways to help them succeed.

Brendan serves as vice commander of his local VFW chapter and as a veterans advocate. An avid traveler, he’s been to every U.S. state and Canadian province. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, and primitive camping – especially when he can do them with his teenage son – as well as coffee, food, and cigars.

“NACC helps glazing contractors have better longevity in their business. It helps them reduce costs, improve safety, and have a level of comfort. As a business leader, you’re not constantly fighting fires. Fires become smaller and less frequent, allowing you to focus on building and growing your business.”
