USGlass highlights certifications for risk aversion

USGlass magazine highlighted North American Contractor Certification (NACC) and Architectural Glass & Metal Technician (AGMT) certification as measures to mitigate risk aversion in building envelope construction. The article, “Risk Aversion: The Unintended Consequences for High-Performance Facades,” by Helen Sanders describes how a recent Facade Tectonics Institute (FTI) research study determined, “risk aversion permeates the building envelope design and construction.” NACC is cited as a target risk mitigation strategy.
