NACC features in IUPAT tour during AIA ’23 Conference

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) hosted its 2023 Conference (AIA ’23) in San Francisco, California, from June 7-10. As one of many events coordinated around the conference, the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) District Council 16 of Northern California hosted an interactive tour of its training facility to show architects and related professionals how glaziers, painters, and other finishing trades prepare for the future. NACC Program Director Jeff Dalaba hosted a presentation during the tour about the value of certifications, including both NACC and AGMT. Both certifications are championed by IUPAT but are open to union and non-union members alike.

Representatives from USGlass magazine were on hand and later prepared an article summarizing the four-hour tour and how design professionals can benefit from NACC.
