Amanda Gibney Weko

Marketing Consultant

Engaged to support program communications, Amanda has brought consistency and creativity to AGMT, NACC, and AGMCC materials.

As an outside consultant, and owner of AGW Communications since 2003, she contributes to marketing, public relations, and graphic design, helping articulate the value of certifications and providing certified contractors and technicians with materials that highlight their credentials. Educated as an architect, Amanda brings nearly 30 years of experience to her consulting role. Highly organized and able to quickly shift gears, she juggles numerous assignments with proficiency and patience.

In addition to her work for AMS, Amanda has written or contributed to seven books and dozens of trade magazine articles. She’s actively involved with the Lehigh University Department of Art, Architecture, and Design advisory council and has held past board roles with the ACE Mentor Program of Greater Philadelphia and Jefferson University College of Architecture and the Built Environment. Amanda and her husband divide time between South Jersey and New Orleans, Louisiana, where her daughter attends Tulane University. When she’s not working, Amanda enjoys cooking, reading, and travel to off-the-beaten-path locations around the globe.
