Jason Simonette

A former Army communications specialist, Jason knows how to keep a team focused, organized, and on task. He oversees AGMT performance-based testing across the country, ensuring the test rigs, equipment, materials and staff are ready for candidates. He also regularly proctors tests as a certified examiner.

After leaving the Army, Jason held a variety of roles in the aeronautics industry, supervising and refurbishing airfields and doing utility contracting, before landing at AMS. He even started, and continues to remotely oversee, Fiber Kings, LLC, a telecommunications company based in Georgia. Jason confidently juggles disparate responsibilities and handles coordination with a good-natured attitude. He credits the interpersonal skills learned in the military for his ability to put others at ease. A natural people person, Jason has become a favorite among peers in the glass industry.

When he’s not traversing the country overseeing AGMT testing, Jason enjoys traveling the world with his wife and four kids. He believes experiencing other places and cultures is important to having empathy and an open mind. He instills a similar positive mindset and values as head coach for his son’s Pop Warner football team.
